Purpose of award: To recognize students with moderate to profound hearing loss who have academically excelled.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must have moderate to profound hearing loss since birth or before learning to speak With a hearing loss of 60 dB or greater. Students must use spoken communication as their primary means of communicating and be enrolled in an accredited mainstream university. The TTY phone number is 202-337-5221.
