Purpose of award: To aid Louisiana student residents.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be Louisiana residents, U.S. citizens, apply during their senior year in high school, use the award at a Louisiana college or university, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have a minimum ACT score of 23 or an equivalent SAT I score.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: 3
Amount: Tuition plus $400.
Number of awards: Varies
Deadline: July 1.
How to apply: The application is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). ACT or SAT I scores must also be reported.
