Purpose of award: To help the families of public school teachers.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be high school seniors whose parents are U.S. public or private education employees and have at least a "B" average and a minimum ACT score of23 or SAT score of 1100. Students are asked to submit an essay, transcript, list of activities and honors and two letters of recommendation.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: 3
Amount: $1,000-$10,000.
Number of awards: 26.
Deadline: February 12.
