Purpose of award: To assist outstanding West Virginia high school students.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be West Virginia residents planning to attend an eligible West Virginia public or private college or university, graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA and have a minimum ACT score of21 or SAT score of 1000.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: 3
Amount: Varies.
Number of awards: Varies
Deadline: January 31 for PROMISE application and March 1 for FAFSA.
How to apply: Applications are available online. Applicants must also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
