Purpose of award: The foundation addresses the issues of literacy, independent living, employment and access for visually impaired Americans.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be full-time graduate students who are legally blind and can present evidence of financial need. Students must submit applications, transcripts, enrollment letters, proof of U.S. citizenship, proof of legal blindness, two letters of recommendation and a typed statement describing educational and personal goals, work experience, extracurricular activities and how the scholarship funds will be used.
