Purpose of award: To assist students who are studying psychology.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be high school students who have been or are presently enrolled in a psychology course and must write an essay answering a question from the APA. A Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (TOPSS) member must sponsor all candidates, and each school may submit no more than ten papers.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $1,000.
Number of awards: 3.
Deadline: February 16.
