Purpose of award: To reward academic excellence and leadership while encouraging careers in engineering, science and computer science.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be high school seniors from Idaho, Utah, Texas, Colorado or Virginia planning to major in engineering, computer science, physics, chemistry or material sciences. They must have at least a 3.5 GPA and an SAT combined score of 1350 or an ACT composite score of 30. Applicants must also demonstrate leadership in school, work or extracurricular activities.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: 3.5
Amount: $16,500-$55,000.

Deadline: January 19.
